Like an frickin deer with huge antlers.
I was driving home from school with Mom, because I told her I was driving since I haven't driven since summer, and she agreed. So we're almost home and this huge buck with antlers -have I mentioned that yet... because all I could say for about 20 minutes after was "a deer with antlers" along with expressive hand motions- runs out of the woods. He practically came out of nowhere. Time just slowed down and I hit the breaks. Luckily since I hit the breaks he didn't go through the front wind shield. But he rammed straight into the side of the car, right next to me. Then he turned back around and sprinted straight back to the woods. He looked fine though his neck looked a little crooked, though I think that was more because he was dazed instead of hurt. The only sign he even hit the car was his snot on the windshield and the smashed side view mirror. Other than hat there were no dents or scratches. Thank God I was only going 35 mph.

On an extra note: My mom was really cool about all of this. She told me I did good by hitting the breaks and not freaking out and swerving. And afterward she let me drive to Suzanne's to show and tell her about all of this. She even made a comment to Isabel & Suzanne that it was sad that I couldn't even claim my first deer kill because it was still alive. Though I'm really glad it got right back up after it hit the car.

Extra extra note: I spent the next hour at Suzanne's hanging out with her, Isabel, and Ken which was a lot of fun. Oh eventful day.
